This candidate for the Rafael Manzano Prize 2013 was presented by the architect, Luis Fernando Gómez Stern, in collaboration with the historian and academician, Ignacio Medina. It included the renovation project in Seville of LAS CASAS DE LA JUDERIA which can be viewed as a complete action of the urban recovery of a traditional district, focussing on the refurbishment of the houses it contains. The renovation of LAS CASAS DE LA JUDERIA, which are now used for a single purpose, comprised five different refurbishment projects. This complies with the basis of the prize that refers to the form and extension: on one hand you have the urban intervention of the recovery of the group and on the other the refurbishment of each of the four stately homes that structure it.
